Display Card

  • Reach & Frequency and Auction Ads: Display Card can be used for all objectives. 
  • Brand Auction: Display Card can support app install, traffic, conversion, reach and video views. However, only allow listed advertisers can have the ability to use this feature for Brand Auction. 

How to create Display Card Ads? 

Here is the 10-step process for you to create a Display Card advertising in a simple way. 

  1. Create a new campaign
  2. Select your buying type: Reach & Frequency and pick an advertising objective, or Auction and choose the Traffic, Conversions, or App Installs objective. 
  3. Set up your ad group and click Continue to Ad from the Submit Order and Reserve Audience pop-up. 
  4. Enable Identity if you want to create a Spark Ad or turn it off for a non-Spark Ad. 
  5. Select Single Video as the Ad Format.

  1. Add your video, ad text, URL, and call to action. 
  2. Click Create under Interactive Add-ons.

  1. From the Interactive Add-on pop-up, choose Card, and select Display Card, and click Confirm.
  2. Click Upload Image and select the image you want to use as your Display Card. You can edit your image, as needed, then click Confirm.
  3. Click Submit on the ad creation page.

Gift Code Sticker

The Gift Code Sticker Interactive Add-On is a new feature that lets you add a promotional code to your video. This sticker will appear within TikTok Ads video and can’t be closed until the end. You can also adjust the size and position of your sticker on TikTok Ads Manager.

How to create Interactive Add-Ons? 

Simpler than creating Display Card, all the steps to create other Interactive Add-Ons are similar:  

  1. Create a new campaign in TikTok Ads Manager  
  2. Select Buying type and Advertising objective
  3. Set up your Ad Group, and continue to Ad Creation
  4. Enable Identity if you want to create a Spark Ad or turn it off for a non-Spark Ad. 
  5. Select Single Video as the Ad Format
  6. Add your video, ad text, URL, and call to action.  
  7. Click Create under Interactive Add-ons.
  8. From the Interactive Add-on pop-up, select Sticker and the Interactive Add-Ons type you want, then click Confirm
